Paola A. Palencia is a dedicated attorney with extensive experience in personal injury, family, and immigration law. Originally from Colombia, Paola earned her law degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia in 1999. Early in her career, Paola had the privilege of serving as a Judicial Assistant for the “Consejo de Estado,” Colombia’s Supreme Advisory Body for the National Government. In this role, Paola reviewed complex cases in which the government was sued for damages related to public administration actions, such as personal injuries, deaths, and forced disappearances. This experience honed her ability to analyze evidence and present legal arguments effectively.
After moving to the United States in 2001, Paola earned her juris doctorate degree from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law . After law school, Paola launched her own successful practice, focusing on family and immigration law from 2008 to 2021.
Paola’s extensive legal background across two countries and legal systems provides her with unique insights that she brings to her personal injury cases. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, enabling her to effectively represent and communicate with clients in both languages. Paola is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Colombia, and she remains committed to delivering justice and advocating for her clients in every case she handles.
