Eric Arrington is senior trial attorney who’s tried a myriad of cases to verdict. Eric has tried cases throughout Florida before the courts of general jurisdiction, the Federal Judicial Districts of Florida, the Third District Court of Appeal, the Administrative Law Courts for the NTSB, and presented briefs before the United States Court of Appeals, for the Eleventh Circuit.
Eric was born in Las Vegas Nevada on November 29, 1964, to the mother of a Bermudian immigrant. Eric has lived in numerous locations throughout the United States, to include Nevada, Maryland, Ohio, New Jersey, Texas, and Florida, while spending the summers of his formative years in Bermuda. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Maryland where he majored in biological sciences and made the Dean’s Honor Roll. Upon graduation, Eric was awarded the prestigious Fogarty International Center Fellowship through the National Institutes of Health (NIH), under which he performed clinical medical scientific research at Universiade de Federal Rio de Janeiro, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Thereafter, Eric earned his juris doctorate degree from Southern Methodist University as a scholarship recipient, where he was an active member of the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity.
While in law school, Eric studied Comparative/International Law at University College, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England during a summer abroad.
Eric has extensive experience litigating and trying personal injury cases, including many years representing insurers. Eric’s experience on the defense side gives him unique insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend personal injury claims, which he leverages to effectively advocate for his clients. He has litigated vehicle accidents, pedestrian accidents, aviation accidents, motorcycle/ATV accidents, bicycle accidents, premises liability such as slip and falls, negligent security cases, fire/arson cases, contracts disputes, business litigation, civil rights, and Federal Aviation Administration litigation involving safety regulations, employment disputes, and civil penalties.
