Michael Schutt is a partner who focuses on personal injury litigation. Mr. Schutt started his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Palm Beach County. He has litigated criminal, real estate, vehicle, and trucking accidents, product liability, negligent security, wrongful death, medical malpractice, first-party property, and insurance declaratory relief cases. Mr. Schutt has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 2002 and the U.S. Southern District of Florida since 2006.
Mr. Schutt graduated cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2001 and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in 1995. While in law school, Mr. Schutt was the president of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Following his work at the Public Defender’s office, Mr. Schutt was the managing attorney of an insurance defense firm which has provided him with keen insight into how insurance companies operate.
Mr. Schutt lives and works in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He is married and has two children. When he is not working hard to get the best results for his clients, he enjoys running, biking and boating.
